Mohd Fazly Yusof

Mohd Fazly Yusof was born in Melaka in 1978. He completed his tertiary education in Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in year 2000 with Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) (Civil Engineering). Upon graduation, he worked with ML Consultanty Services Sdn. Bhd., Melaka as Design Engineer and responsible in managing and designing most of the infrastructure works including urban drainage, sewerage and water supply work projects for the firm. In January 2001, he then joined River Engineering and Urban Drainage Unit known as UKSSB before its been upgraded to River Engineering and Urban Drainage Research Centre as contract Research Officer and was fully assigned in supervision of BIOECODS implementation  in USM Engineering Campus, Nibong Tebal, Pulau Pinang. On 16 August 2004, he was appointed as Science Officer in REDAC and continues to serve the centre and university to date.

Fazly's main research interests are application of Bio-Ecological Drainage System (BIOECODS) and application of Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS) for urban development. To date, he is actively involved in urban drainage research and consultancy works in REDAC and has managed to publish several journal and conference papers.
