Khairul Rahmah Bt Ayub

Khairul Rahmah Bt Ayub was born in Perak and completed her first degree at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in Bachelor of Science (Environmental Science) in 2001. She later pursued her Masters in Environmental Engineering and graduated from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2008.


Khairul Rahmah Ayub works as a Research Officer at River Engineering and Urban Drainage Research Center (REDAC), Engineering Campus, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) since October 2002. Her main research interests are environmental management and environmental engineering. She involved in several researches and consultancy works such as Bio-Ecological Drainage System (BIOECODS), Hydraulic Capacity of Ecological Swale, and Drainage Improvements Works for Perai Industrial Complex. She received several short-term grants and RU grants from USM since 2006.


Khairul Rahmah Ayub involves in organizing RIVERS’04 – 1st International Conference on Managing Rivers in the 21st Century: Issues and Challenges. She also authors and presented papers for RIVERS’04 conference in September 2004. Besides, she also co-authors an article for 6th International Conference on Hydroscience and Engineering (ICHE – 2004) at Brisbane, Australia in June 2004.  Khairul Rahmah is now actively involved in publishing articles in local and international journals.
